Here are a couple of symptoms of MBR/GPT corruption in a workstation, so you can choose two of them for your assignment:
- non-system disk or disk error
- remove disks or other media
- invalid system disk
- invalid media type
- disk boot failure
- a disk read error occurred
- NTLDR (or BOOTMGR) is missing
- NTLDR is compressed
