The Amazon is much larger than the Mississippi and are located on different continents.

The Amazon flows through ( I think ) more jungle and rainforests where the Mississippi isn't located in land like that. ( there's literally a highway that follows it down )

Answer:

Both are largest american river systems.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • The Amazon has no delta which is formed by the Mississippi river.
  • Amazon supports a wider network of plants and the animal life. Mississippi is more of recreational.
  • The Amazon is consists of a tropical rain forest, whereas the Mississippi flows through the dense temperate climate.
  • The Amazon is longer than the Mississippi, and the river has a number of artificial and natural lakes and river Mississippi has experience of large course changes as compared to that of the amazon river.
