Using the elimination method how do I find x and y for the following problem:

4x-7y=13
4x + 7y = -29​

8x= -16

x=-2

Explanation:

1. add 4x+4x=8x

2. subtract -7y+7y=0

3. subtract 13-29= -16

4. divide -16 by 8x= -2

you basically align the variables and solve down.
