-1.75 is the slope of the line.

Use the formula y2 - y1 / x2 - x1 to find the slope of a line.
Plug in the numbers in your coordinates.

y2 - y1 / x2 - x1
2 - (-5) / -3 - 1
7 / -4
-1.75

Hope this helps!!
