The relationship below explains a type of symbiosis. Read the paragraph, and then answer the questions that follow.

A clown fish lives in and around the sea anemone. The clown fish has a protective mucous coating, which prevents it from being stung by the sea anemone. Since the clown fish can not be harmed by the anemone, it gains protection by living in and around the anemone. The clown fish will in return ward off any predators of the anemone to protect it's home. A.what is symbiosis B.What type of symbiosis is this example? Explain why.

This type of symbiosis is known as mutualism where both individuals are benefited.

Another example of it is Lichen: mutualism between an algae and fungi.
