The common denominator for both fractions is 12 so we multiply the numerator and denominator of 3/4 by 3 to get 9/12 and 3/6 by 2 to get 6/12
9/12 + 6/12 = 15/12
the answer is 15/12
we can simplify by putting this in a mixed fraction
1 and 3/12 or 1 and 1/4.
Hope this helps!
