In the Declaration of Independence, President Thomas Jefferson makes uses of parallelism, as he tries to make a correspondence between the fact that "All men are created equal" with the "unalienable rights" which are endowed by their Creator, such as Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
