A cone has a radius of 2.5 inches and a height of 1.6 inches . What is the volume of the cone to the nearest tenth in. Use 3.14 to approximate pi

Answer:

The actual awnser is 10.5 if you were to round to the nearest tenth like it said.

Volume of a cone = 1/3(h)(Pi*r^2)
V = 1/3 (1.6) (3.14 * 2.5^2)
Volume = 10.47 inches cubed.
