Answer:

B. Venus gives Galatea life, and Pygmalion lives happily ever after.

Step-by-step explanation:

According to Ovid´s poem "Metamorphoses", Pygmalion was a Cypriot sculpture who carved a woman out of ivory. Once he finished it he fell in love with the statue.

He went to Aphrodite´s festival day and made an offering on her altar for the statue to become a real person. When he returned home the goddess had granted his wish and the ivory sculpture named Galatea was alive. They married and had a daughter named Paphos.

I hope this answer helps you.
