This is the concept of perimeter of figures, to get the length of material that is required to make a circle with diameter 6 ft, we are required to calculate for its circumference;
circumference, C= π*diameter
C=3.14*6=18.85 ft
therefore it will take a material whose length is 18.85 ft to make a circle of 6 feet
