If AB = BC in traingle ABC, then which of the following must be true?

Answer: m∠A = m∠C


Explanation:

If AB = BC in triangle ABC, then Δ ABC is a isosceles triangle.

We know that there is a theorem which says that "Angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are equal".

Thus if AB = BC, then

m∠A = m∠C [Angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are equal]

Thus, option 2 is right. If AB = BC in triangle ABC, then m∠A = m∠C must be true.
