Answer:

Green house effect is the process by which the green house gases gases trap the heat in the atmosphere. These gases allows the UV and visible rays to pass through but does not allows the passage of the infrared light.

The infrared light increase the amount of heat in the atmosphere. There is a direct relation between the burning of fossil fuel and greenhouse effect.

The more the burning of fossil fuel more green house gases will be released into the environment, increasing the temperature thus, greenhouse effect.
