You have the opposite and the hypotenuse given. So you use the sine ratio

Sin x = 6/9

x= sin inverse of 6/9 = 41.8 degrees

The measure of the missing angle x is: 41.8°

How to use Trigonometric ratios?

There are three main trigonometric ratios which are:

sin x = opposite/hypotenuse

cos x = adjacent/hypotenuse

tan x = opposite/adjacent

Using the sin trigonometric ratio, we have:

x = sin⁻¹
(6)/(9)

x = 41.8°
