You and three friends own a paint shop. The shop's profit was $536 in the first month. You always divide the profits equally. In two months, each of you had made $224. How much profit did the shop make in the second month?

first month: 536/4 = 134 per person
second month: 224-134 = 90 per person, so 4x90 = 360 for the shop

$896 (total) - $536 (first month profit) = $360 (second month profit)
