All you have to do for this problem is calculate the percentage of metal albums out of the total amount of albums for each grandparent. Whichever grandparent's ratio is higher will be your answer of which grandparent is more likely.
You can figure out the ratio by dividing the smaller number by the larger number:
Maude: 135 / 225 = 0.6 or 60% of her albums are metal
Claude: 270 / 450 = 0.6 or 60% of his albums are metal
Since both of their music collections are 60% metal albums, I would say that they both have the same chance of picking a metal album to listen to, based on the information that was given in this problem.
