protien can be effected bc there are certain acids in your body and if u add more mutation then it messes with all the acid and stuff in your body and can be very harmful

Answer:

Insertion mutation changes the reading frame of nucleotide of the DNA.

Step-by-step explanation:

The mutation is the changes in the nucleotides sequence in the DNA. The mutation is of different kinds such as point mutation and frameshift mutation. In point mutation, only a single nucleotide sequence has changed and most of the point mutation is harmless. When the point mutation happens in the non-coding sequence of DNA it is harmless. But when the mutation occurs in coding strands of DNA it is harmful e.g. sickle cell anemia. The frameshift mutation is of two types - insertion and deletion mutation. In insertion mutation, an additional nucleotide sequence has added, which changes the pairing and produces defective protein to a large extent. The insertion mutation changes the reading frame of nucleotides in the DNA.
