8 Months. you multiply 140*.06 which gets you 8.4. next you round your answer to 8. the .06 is equal to 6%. Hope This help! :)

A=p (1+r)^t
300=140 (1+0.06)^t
Solve for t
T=log(300÷140)÷log(1.06)
t=13 months
