x = multiplication
h = height
r^2 = radius squared

Formula of a cylinder: Pi x r^2 x height

So, if 176 = 3.14... times 4^2 times h
Then, 176 = 3.14 times 16h
Next, 176 = 50.24h
Finally, 3.5 = h

You can then check your work by plugging 3.5 back in for the missing height and round to the nearest tenth. :) The answer should come out the same if done correctly.
