US National forest cover approximately 300,000 square miles. conversationalist want the total square footage of forests to be 300,000 (2nd power) square miles away. When I Vanna used her phone to do the calculation, her screen showed 9e+10. a what does the answer on her screen mean? Explain how you know b. Given that the US has approximately 4 million square miles of land, is this a reasonable goal for conversationalist? Explain

e+10 is equivalent to 10^10 so, 9e+10 is equivalent to 9*10^10. 300,000^2 is 90000000000 square miles, where as the US has 4000000. Therefore, if the national forest were as large as the environmentalist wants them to be, the forest would be larger than the US, which is IMPOSSIBLE !!! As a result, this goal is not reasonable
