3c+5t=45
Multiply the second equation by-2
6c+2t=24
-6c-10t=-90 subtract
-8t=-66
T=8.25
6c+2 (8.25)=24
Solve for c
C=1.25

Each chair cost 3 dollars and each table cost 4 dollars because 6 counted 3 times is 18and 2 counted 4 times is 24
