The general formula for alkenes group is CnH2n, compounds that which contain two or more double bonds. C indicates the carbon and it's subscript corresponds how many carbons are present in a compound. The question is asking a five carbon alkene, so it should have this formula: C5H10 and this compound is called pentene.
