D & S Cafeteria in Cary, NC recently served 2461 customers on a Saturday and 3184 customers on the following Sunday. How many more customers were served on Sunday? A student has to move 200 books from a room into a moving van. She can only carry 13 books in a single trip. How many trips will she need to make in order to move all the books to the van?

The total number of customers served on Saturday was 2461 customers.

The total customers served on Sunday was 3184 customers.

To solve for the amount of customers that were served on Sunday more than Saturday, we will need to subtract the total number of customers served on Saturday from the total number of customers served on Sunday.

\begin{gathered} 3184\text{customers}-2461\text{customers} \\ =(3184-2461)\text{customers} \\ =723\text{ customers.} \end{gathered}

Hence, 723 customers were served more on Sunday.
