How does a balenced chemical equation satisfy the Law of Conservation of Mass?

A. During a chemical reaction, the total amout of matter stays the same

D. During a chemical reaction, the total number of atoms increases.

The answer is A. In a chemical reaction matter can't be created or destroyed, so a balanced equation shows this. Hope this helps
