P=2x+2y
P=2(x+y)
y=(P/2)-x
A=xy and using y from above we get:
A=(Px/2)-x^2 since A=28 and P=22
28=(22x/2)-x^2
28=11x-x^2
x^2-11x+28=0
(x-7)(x-4)
So the dimensions are 7 inches by 4 inches
