Answer:

Find the reciprocal.

Step-by-step explanation:

For example if the question is :

(1)/(2) ÷
(1)/(4)

First take the reciprocal ( inverse ) of
(1)/(4) which is
(4)/(1), which is 4. By doing this, instead of dividing, you will be multiplying.

(1)/(2) × 4 = 2

*Remember*

Whenever dividing two fractions, find the reciprocal of the second fraction (do not find the reciprocal of the first fraction) , then multiply the first fraction with the reciprocal of the second fraction.
