An inverse of a statement would basically be the opposite of what the statement says. For this one, they could be:
If you study for your test, you grades will decrease.
If you don't study for a test, your grades will increase.

Inverse means opposite or contrary in positions; So the inverse statement to, "If you study for the test, your grade will increase", would be "If you do not study for the test, your grade will decrease".
