The answer is a. north of equator.

Areas of tundra lies in the northern hemisphere, having part of North America, Greenland and Eurasia. It has latitude and longitude 71.2° North and 156° West. The temperature in tundra region is very low and precipitation is also very less. The growing season is very short and vegetation is dominated by small sized shrubs only.
