What's (-5, 3) reflected along x-axis

The rule for reflecting a point across the x-axis is (x,-y). We then apply this rule to our given coordinate, giving us the new location of (-5,-3).

Whenever you reflect a point over the x axis, the x coordinate stays the same and the y coordinate is negated. In this case, the y coordinate which is 3 will be negated to become -3, and the x coordinate which is -5 will remain the same. Therefore, the new point is (-5,-3).

I hope this helps.
