123=h3.14*1.5^2
123=h3.14*2.25pi
123=h7.065pi
divide both sides by 7.065
17.409=h
round to hundreth
17.41 inches

volume of candle = 3.24 * r^2* h where r = radius and h = height

so plugging in the given values:-

123 = 3.14 * 1.5^2 * h

h = 123 / ( 3.14* 1.5^2)

= 17.41 inches to nearest hundredth
