It crosses the x axis when y = 0.
so we need to solve x^2 - x - 2 = 0.
This is done as follows:
x^2-x-2=0
(x-2)(x+1) = 0
Therefore x = 2 or x = -1.

So the two coordinates are (2,0) and (-1,0) the answer is A
