Pretty simple.
Rationalize this expression by multiplying numerator and denominator by 2√2 which will give you
4∗2√24∗22
Just cancel out 2 in numerator and denominator and you get your answer.

We know that 4/2 = 2.
2 can cancel out with the 4, since 4 is multiplied with √2

Hence, we get: 2√2
