The height is 17, the length is 2w+4 and the width = w.
So you need to know V=2720^3= (17)(2w+4)(w)
Now you just combine and solve for W
hope this helps

so.. if the width is say "w", twice the width will then be 2*w or 2w
and 4 greater than that, => 2w + 4

thus
\bf \qquad \qquad \textit{volume of a rectangular prism}\\\\ V=l\cdot w\cdot h\qquad \begin{cases} l=length\\ w=width\\ h=height\\ -------\\ h=17\\ l=2w+4\\ V=2,720 \end{cases}\implies 2720=(2w+4)(w)(17)

solve for "w"
