How would one describe Hamlet's emotional state after Claudius so abruptly leaves the play? What is the reason for it?

Hamlet must have felt utterly excited and distressed because he finally obtained the irrefutable evidence of Claudius's guilt of the king's, his own brother and Hamlet's father, murder, a piece of evidence he would rather not have gotten for now he was compelled to avenge his father's death since up to that point he had tried to elude the burden of taking action against Claudius.
