The probability = 11/36

Total number of outcomes =36

Event E is when the sum of the two dice =6
E={(1,5),(2,4),(3,3),(4,2),(5,1)}

Total number of outcomes of getting 6 is =5

Probability of event E
P(E) =5/36

Event F is when the sum of the two dice =7
F= {(1,6),(2,5),(3,4),(4,3),(5,2),(6,1)}

Total number of outcomes of getting 7 is =6
Probability of event F

P(F) =6/36

Probability of getting a 6 or a 7
=5/36+ 6/36 = 11/36

The probability is 11/36, there are 36 possible ways of rolling a 2 dice, there are 11 possible ways of rolling a six or seven out of 36 possible rolls.
