so 5n^3 - 230=90 first you add 230 to both sides so you get 5n^3=320 than you divide 5 from both sides so you get n^3=64 so you take the cube root of both sides to get the answer... n=4

5n^3-230=90

5n^3=320

n^3= (320)/(5)

n^3=64

n= \sqrt[3]{64}

n=4
