10. Genie learns that about 3 out of 10 people in Mexico are under the age of 15. What percent of the population is under the age of 15?

11. If the population of Mexico is about 116 million, approximately how many children under the age of 15 are in the country?
Both question are related pls help.

For the first question. 3 out of 10 is pretty much a fraction to 3/10. 10 is the denominator,0.03 should be the decimal. For the second one, we need to do 0.00000003, for a fraction..3/116,000,000

For the first one I guess you'd divide 3/10 to get:0.03=3%
And for the second one I think you'd have to multiply 3% by 116 to get your answer as 3.48 million children from ages 15 and under
