When we have a normal distribution with mean μ = 64.5 and standard deviation σ = 2.5, we can calculate the z-score for X = 67 as:

\begin{gathered} z=(X-\mu)/(\sigma) \\ z=(67-64.5)/(2.5)=(2.5)/(2.5)=1 \end{gathered}

As the z-score is 1, it means that is one standard deviation to the right of the mean.

Answer: z = 1
