You can say that it is beneficial because it adds a sense of identity to the school and it is much easier to see if there is an intruder on campus if they are not in unison like everyone else. It does help gang activity like the person above stated because with uniforms, you cannot "rep" any gang colors or affiliation, thus lowering the amount of gang-related violence. It is also beneficial to the students because they can take their mind off of having to make the decision as to what they will wear to school the next day, which can lower stress depending if a student is one who cares about what other people think about them or not. It can also lower bullying to a degree, no one can rightfully make fun of someone else's clothing if they are wearing the same thing. Hope this helped a little!
