In this problem we can calculate the ratio between men and women so:

r=(22)/(14)=1.57

Now we calculate the ratio of the options so:

\begin{gathered} r_a=(40)/(18)=2.22 \\ r_b=(32)/(24)=1.33 \\ r_c=(33)/(21)=1.57 \\ r_d=(11)/(6)=1.83 \end{gathered}

So the solution is C 33 men and 21 women
