Explanation:

The figure is a kite divided into 4 right triangles

Top two triangles are congruent and also bottom two triangles

Since top half angle is 45 we have height = base = 45 for top triangle

Top triangle right side area = 1/2 base x height = 1/2 (2.5)(2.5)

Area of two triangles at the top = 2.5 x 2.5 =6.25

Now bottom triangles each has base 6m and height same as 2.5 m

Hence area of two triangles at the bottom=2(1/2 )(6)(2.5)

=15

Together the total area of the figure = 6.25 +15 = 21.25 m^2

Option C is right.
