Let's solve for a
n=3a-6
step1:Flip the equation
3a-6=n
Step 2:Add 6 to both sides
3a-6+6=n+6
3a=n+6
Step 3:Divide both sides by 3
3a/3=n+6/3

Answer:a=1/3n+2
