Youngstown has a population of 12,000. its population is increasing at a rate of 1.2%

if it's increasing at a rate of 1.2 then 2,400 would be how many people the population increases by

you multiply 12,000 by 1.2 and get 14,400
subtract 12,000 from that and you'd get 2,400

i think i'm right lol sorry if i'm not

increase it by 1.2% so 12,000 is the normal amount find out how 1.2% will affect 12,000 not alot right? so im assuming it would increase about 50 or less
