99 POINTS!!! 99 POINTS!!!!!!!!!!

the table of values represents a quadratic function
X | F(x)
---------
-10| 184
-5| 39
0| -6
5 | 49
10| 204

What is the average rate of change for f(X) from x=-5 to x=10??

the rate of change or slope between the points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

so bewteen x=-5 and x=10

slope=(f(10)-f(5))/(10-(-5))

f(10)=204

f(-5)=39

slope=(204-39)/(10-(-5))=165/(10+5)=165/15=11

average rate of change is 11
