2x= (3)/(4)

To get x on it's own we need to divide by 2 on both sides:

x= ( (3)/(4) )/(2)

This is the same as:

x= (3)/(4) / (2)/(1)

We can flip and multiply to solve the division of fractions:

(3)/(4)* (1)/(2) = (3*1)/(4*2) = (3)/(8)

So now the equation (and solution) is:

x= (3)/(8)
