Each neighbor would get 1 whole cucumber and a 1/4 of a cucumber so it would be 1 and a 1/4

Answer:

1(1)/(4) cucumbers.

Explanation:

Zoe has 5 cucumbers she grew in her garden. She wants to share them equally among 4 neighbors.

So we can find the amount of cucumber each neighbor will get by unitary method.

∵ 4 neighbors get cucumbers = 5

∴ 1 neighbor will get = 5/4 cucumbers

Or each neighbor will get
1(1)/(4) cucumbers.

So the answer is Zoe will give
1(1)/(4) cucumbers to each neighbor.
