A bacteria population increases every hour. at 12pm there are 5 cells at 1pm there are 10 cells at 2pm there are 20 cells and at 3pm there are 40 cells. if this pattern continues how many cells will ther be at 7 pm

Explanation:

The bacteria population increases every hour . At 12 p there are 5 cells , at 1 pm it increases to 10 cells , at 2 pm it increases to 20 cells at 3 pm it increases to 40 cells .

If you notice the pattern of growth you will realize the bacteria population doubles.

at 4pm → 80 cells

at 5pm → 160 cells

at 6 pm → 320 cells

at 7pm → 640 cells
