From the figure, it is given that ABCD is a parallelogram and since, opposite sides of the parallelogram are equal, thus

BC=AD

⇒6-x=x+2

⇒x=2

Thus, BC=AD=2 units.

Also, the opposite angles of the parallelogram are equal, therefore

∠BAD=∠BCD

⇒100-y=12+y

⇒y=44

Therefore, ∠BAD=100-44=56° and ∠BCD=12+44=56°

Thus, ∠BAD=∠BCD=56°
