Andre: 0.45 is equal to 9/20
Mark: 0.5 is equal to 5/10 which is equal to 10/20
So 9/20 + 1/20 is 10/20
1/20 is equal to 0.05
ANSWER: Mark spent 0.05 more of a dollar than Andre.
