I read both poems, I think that these poems speak of individuals who have faced insurmountable challenges but despite these difficulties never gave up and never lost his identity.

He knows his strength and he is looking forward to a future that one day he will attain as long as he continues to hold on and keep on fighting for what he believes he truly deserves in life.
