A recipe for quinoa calls 2 2/3 cups of milk. Conner wants to makes 4 batches of quinoa. How much milk does he needs

First, we multiply the 2 whole into the denominator 3. and we get the answer 6.

We then add 2, or the numerator. Forming 8/3. an improper fraction.

Now, we multiple the 4 batches, to 8/3. But we don't need to multiply the denominator this time.

So now that we have 32/3, again an improper fraction. We can divide.

Lastly we divide it. so 32 ÷ 3 = 10 2/3.

So the answer is 10 2/3 cups of milk.
